Parrotletbirds has created a "Shipping F.A.Q." section below in hopes of helping our customers find answers to a question and to help ease any concerns when it comes to shipping your Parrotlet companion.

What airlines do you use to ship?

All Pacific Parrotlets are shipped with Delta Airlines or Continental Airlines. Our customer are given the option of selecting Delta or Continental. All order are shipped out of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

How safe are Parrotlets when shipped?

Shipping Parrotlets is a safe and secure way of transporting your parrot from one destination to another. We use an ultra secure and durable shipping container (picture listed below). Having your Parrotlet arrive healthy and alive is one of our main priorities. In addition, we offers a 10 day health guarantee on all pacific parrotlets.

How much does it cost to ship a Parrotlet?  Who collects the shipping fee?

Shipping will range in price from $45 - $90 depending on availability and number of connections. Buyer has the option of paying collect or pre-paid.

How many Parrotlets can be shipped for the same price?

 We can ship up to 24 Parrotlets for the same price. However, we will need to use multiple shipping containers to ensure safe arrival of your Parrotlets.

How large is the shipping container used to ship Parrotlets?

We only use durable and secure shipping container which measures 20 x 12 x 12.

Who books the reservation?

We will book the reservation for our customers. Once the reservation has been booked we will supply you with an airway bill (reservation#) along with shipping details. We suggest you contact. Delta Airlines to confirm the flight info provided is correct.

Where do I pick my Parrotlet up from?

Your Parrotlet can be picked up from the "Live Animal Desk" at Delta Cargo. If your airport does not have a cargo or is a smaller airport, you might have to go directly to the ticket counter or baggage claim. Contact Delta Airlines for more details (888) 736 - 3738.
